have Out-of-Body-Experiences (OBEs), also known as astral
projection.

The success of this book, which is in its fifth edition in Portuguese,
is due to the following factors: the broad overview it offers of
the phenomenon; the emphasis placed on both theory and practice;
the high quality of the OBEs described; and the sincerity and objectivity
shown by the author in reporting the experiences.
At the end of each report the author comments
on the experience, giving information that helps the reader to produce
his or her own experiences. The exactness of the analysis of non-physical
events helps the reader to become better oriented and overcome fear
towards out-of-body experiences. The correct understanding of the
phenomenon will help the achievement of voluntary, conscious, controlled
experiences.
The 60 events reported in this work are quite
instructive and they were chosen to provide a full spectrum of what
awaits us beyond this physical dimension. Dr. Vieira relates events
in non-physical communities, the profiles of which include: education;
assistance to consciousnesses in need; assistance in the transition
of biological death; and preparation for upcoming physical existence.
His out-of-body encounters range from those involving disoriented
non-physical consciousnesses; to rendezvous with highly evolved
consciousnesses. It also reports the attainment of a total expansion
of consciousness and transcendence of the space-time continuum.
