Frequently Asked Questions
About Bioenergies

1. What are bioenergies?

Bioenergies, as the name implies, encompass all forms of energy in life, including the energies of plants, animals, and all other living things.

Human beings are open systems. We exchange energies with the environment in which we live. The more familiar sources of bioenergy are nutrients (food and drink), plants, the sun, the sea and the air we breathe. These types of primary, immanent energy are the major sources of energy absorbed by living creatures. Conscientiology refers to this impersonal type of energy as immanent energy; however, different cultures throughout history have given it several names, such as cosmic energy, prana, chi, primary energy, vital energy, subtle energy, orgone, etc. Regardless of the terminology used, they all refer to the same type of energy.

When we, as human beings, produce thoughts and emotions, we transform immanent energy (universal, neutral) into consciential energy (personal, unique). We always think and feel, and we imprint on our consciential energy the information of our thoughts and emotions. Consciential energy, then, is composed of immanent energy, absorbed from nature, plus an individual´s pattern of thoughts and emotions.

2. Is there any relationship between bioenergy and physical and mental fatigue, irritability, sudden bad moods, aggressive behavior without any apparent cause, and generalized discomfort?

Yes, there is a direct connection between the health of our energetic system and our emotional well-being. Processes of emotional imbalance, like those mentioned above, customarily indicate a bioenergetic imbalance. Not rarely a person will feel extremely tired after an argument, involving negative emotions such as grief, jealousy, or resentment, since s/he loses a lot of energy in the process. Also, individuals who work long hours at a computer, without any breaks, will experience fatigue due to the energetic vampirization of this equipment.

3. Can we voluntarily interact with bioenergies? Are there specific techniques to do this?

Our bioenergetic system is sustained by basic, automatic mechanisms of replenishment. However, there are proven techniques that allow us to work with our own bioenergetic field, improving the quantity of energies absorbed and even the quality of our energies. At IAC, we teach advanced bioenergy techniques that enable students to control their bioenergetic system, allowing them to perform energetic check-ups and, if needed, safely resolve energetic blocks.

4. What techniques can we apply in order to control our bioenergies?

There are three basic types of bioenergy techniques: absorption, exteriorization, and circulation of energies. We can absorb energies in order to replenish our bioenergetic system whenever we feel depleted or “robbed of energies”. We can consciously exteriorize or donate energies when we want, for instance, to cleanse the environment or to help other consciousnesses. Additionally we can circulate our energy internally without any exchange with the external environment. We do this whenever we want to protect ourselves from unhealthy patterns of energy. There are many other bioenergy techniques but they all derive from these three basic types. During the “Consciousness Development Program” students learn other practical benefits of working with energy and have a chance to practice the techniques mentioned above as well as many others.

5. When donating energy, do we risk running out of energy?

No, it is impossible to “run out” of energy. With knowledge of bioenergies and some practice with the techniques, we are able to energize ourselves as well as the surrounding environment and other individuals, without suffering any energetic depletion.

It is much more likely that someone who has a bad diet, problems with weight, preconceived ideas, a pessimistic outlook on life and generalized fears will suffer from a lack of energy. Having a positive attitude towards life, altruistic motives and being aware of the basic needs of our physical body in terms of sleep, food, and energy is necessary to help you maintain a more stable energetic level.

6. Does energetic "vampirization" exist? How can it be avoided?

Most people are unaware of bioenergetic processes, they ignore the internal realisation that they are lacking something in their life, often affection, and in turn can easily become energetic vampires. Often these people remain unidentified by their victims who may exhibit sudden fatigue, apathy, sleepiness, etc.

It is necessary to seek accurate technical information in order to resolve situations like this through the clarification of how the process of energetic vampirization (or in conscientiological terms, interconsciential intrusion) occurs instead of merely resorting to superstition or non-technical explanations.

Developing energetic prophylaxis and self-defense, which can be achieved through the control of the vibrational state, is the most efficient way to avoid suffering from energetic vampirization.

7. Is it dangerous to work with bioenergies?

No. The greatest danger is ignorance of energetic processes. With practice, anyone is able to take advantage of all the benefits associated with controlling bioenergies in their everyday life. The daily use of bioenergies is a pleasurable activity, which has become second nature to many and is an undeniable factor in the improvement of the quality of life.

8. Does the use of objects such as pendulums, crystals, pyramids, etc. produce the same effect as the techniques proposed by projectiology?

Projectiology considers these objects to be psycho-physiological crutches. All these crutches often compensate for a lack of self-confidence, which the majority of individuals have regarding their bioenergetic perceptions. It is rare to encounter individuals who have a reasonable degree of confidence in their bioenergetic sensitivity and control. For some, it is much easier to attribute the effectiveness of energy to a pendulum or crystal than acknowledging their own capacities and potential. It is more effective to apply specific and practical techniques using personal motivation, discipline and persistence in order to overcome any difficulty in working with bioenergies, than to resort to some intermediary, physical device.

9. Can we develop our capacity to have lucid out-of-body experiences (OBE), through the conscious use of bioenergies?

Yes. Bioenergies play a crucial role in the development of the projection of the consciousness. The control of our bioenergetic processes is key to our projectability, or capacity to have lucid OBEs.
With proper training you can learn to differentiate between your own energies and those of nature. Working with the techniques and indeed learning how to utilize the energetic resources found throughout nature only yields tangible beneficial results.
