Preliminary publication of ongoing research
projects
The main research projects that are currently
being conducted by IAC investigators are detailed in the following
scientific publications:
OBE SURVEY conducted by
Wagner Alegretti and Nanci Trivellato. The survey as well as its
preliminary findings can be found in the article “A Public
Opinion Research About the Projections of the Consciousness Through
the Internet (WWW)” published in the Annals of the 1st Forum
on Consciousness Research and the 2nd International Congress of
Projectiology (1st Edition: 1999).
IMAGE TARGET RESEARCH PROJECT
conducted by Rodrigo Medeiros and Patricia Sousa. An ongoing research
project whose objective is to analyze the veracity and characteristics
of remote perceptions through phenomena such as travelling clairvoyance
(remote viewing) and Out-of-Body Experience (projection of the consciousness).
Those interested in acquiring further information on this project
will find complete description of its methodology as well as the
results and conclusions of the first three experiments on the article
“Image Target Research Project: A Methodology to Support Research
on Remote Perception Phenomena” published in the Proceedings
of the 3rd International Congress of Projectiology and Conscientiology,
Journal of Conscientiology Supplement, Volume 4, Number 15S (1st
Edition, 2002).
PROJECTIVE FIELD conducted
by Nanci Trivellato and Wagner Alegretti. A research project designed
to investigate the Out-of-Body Experience and how individuals who
undergo this phenomenon interpret and describe it. Complete detail
of this research project together with the results of the first
two experiments can be found on the article “Quantitative
and Qualitative Analysis of Experimental Research Project into Out-of-Body
Experience” in the Proceedings of the 3rd International Congress
of Projectiology and Conscientiology, Journal of Conscientiology
Supplement, Volume 4, Number 15S (1st Edition, 2002).
PROJECTARIUM LABORATORY
proposed by Luisa Fernandes and Nanci Trivellato. The main objective
of this laboratory is to examine whether an optimized environment
can facilitate the production of psychic experiences, particularly
the OBE, and also to verify to what extent these experiences enhance
the quality of life of those who undergo them. The complete Projectarium
project is described in the article “Projectarium: Chamber
Optimized to Support Out-of-Body Experiences” published in
the Journal of Conscientiology, Volume 5, Number 17 (July 2002).
Interested individuals will find in this article detailed information
on the Projectarium’s conceptual and empirical foundations,
description of the architectural project as well as the scientific
methodology behind this remarkable project.
