In the interest of clarity we are, therefore, republishing the glossary of Conscientiology in this issue. We hope this glossary will support those unfamiliar with conscientiological terms, stimulate debates of the ideas presented here, and encourage more readers to write and submit contributions to the JC. In this issue, we are pleased to present you with three very interesting major works and equally engaging smaller works. The discussion on Revivalism by Málu Balona will give us a broader perspective on the progress of humanity’s knowledge, while the study on Serenology and Evolution by Jane Lloyd will tease our minds to jump beyond the physical evolutionary approach. Brooke Gordon’s work supports the theory of the connection between the pineal gland and the non-physical body, which provokes further thoughts and discussions regarding psychic abilities. To promote further consciousness research, the IIPC is planning an International Conference on the second half of 2001 in New York. Researchers are invited to submit their papers to the IIPC NY Office for this event. The Development of Serenity as Part of the Progression to Serenism Jane Lloyd ABSTRACT: This article discusses the relevance of researching and actively developing serenity as an essential step towards greater personal maturity and human evolution (Serenism). This evolutionary progression toward Serenism requires the deepening of understanding of the complexities of the psychosoma (emotions) as well as the multidimensionality. The author compares and contrasts the current perspectives on serenity and research findings on serenity within the field of psychology, to those of the science of Conscientiology. The credible and documented identification of the most evolved human consciousnesses (Homo sapiens serenissimus) by lucid projectors, and the subsequent study of their most distinguishing trait, serenity, have provided practical and applicable tools for the analysis and development of that beneficial evolutionary trait. The philosophical basis and application of the study of Serenism has far-reaching effects for consciousnesses in our currently predominately Preserene society. SUMARIO: Este artículo discute la importancia de investigar y desarrollar activamente la serenidad como un paso esencial hacia la madurez personal y la evolución humana (Serenismo) más amplias. Este progreso evolutivo hacia el Serenismo requiere la profundización de la comprensión en cuanto a las complejidades del psicosoma (emociones), así como de la multidimensionalidad. La autora compara y contrasta las perspectivas actuales sobre la serenidad y los hallazgos de la investigación de la serenidad dentro del campo de la psicología, con los de la ciencia concienciología. La identificación creíble y documentada de la conciencia humana más evolucionada (Homo sapiens serenissimus) por proyectores lúcidos, y el estudio subsecuente de su rasgo más distinguido , la serenidad, ha suministrado herramientas prácticas y aplicables para el análisis y desarrollo de esa beneficiosa característica evolutiva. La base filosófica y la aplicación del estudio del Serenismo tienen efectos de largo alcance para las conciencias en nuestra sociedad actual que es predominantemente de Pre-serenissimus. RESUMO: Este artigo discute a relevância da pesquisa e desenvolvimento ativo da serenidade como um passo essencial para maior maturidade pessoal e evolução humana (serenismo). Esta progressão evolutiva rumo ao serenismo requer o aprofundamento da compreensão das complexidades do psicossoma (emoções) como também a multidimensionalidade. A autora compara e contrasta as perspectivas atuais e os resultados das pesquisa sobre serenidade dentro do campo de Psicologia com aqueles da ciência Conscienciologia. A identificação crível e documentada da consciência humana mais evoluída (Homo sapiens serenissimus) feita por projetores lúcidos, e o subseqüente estudo da sua característica mais evidente - a serenidade, forneceu ferramentas práticas e aplicáveis para a análise e desenvolvimento desta característica evolutiva benéfica. A base filosófica e a aplicação do estudo do serenismo têm efeitos de longo alcance para as consciências em nossa atual sociedade, composta predominantemente por pré-serenões. Jane Lloyd is graduated with a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Sciences from Otago University, New Zealand, and is currently studying towards a Masters in Psychology in New York. Jane Lloyd Revivalism: The Historical Curves of the Evolutionary Spiral Málu Balona ABSTRACT: At the most important curves of its evolutionary spiral, humanity is influenced by retrogressive movements and reviviscence of the past. This apparent nostalgia or longing for the past - revival - is not always negative. In some rare occasions, this revival grants the historical rescue of extemporaneous leading-edge ideas, which were not understood at their own time, and functions today as a kind of newly revised edition. However, retrograde fads more commonly appear in mimetic cycles of specific influence on individual and group behavior amongst the most diverse social fields, such as: the scientific, mystical, philosophical, religious, artistic, educational and entertainment fields. Every now and then, the Arts, Fashion, and Architecture reflect very explicitly movements of revivification of history. Based on the cosmogram, a conscientiological technique, the purpose of this research is to analyze the consciential performance within the historical revivalism, presenting the following hypothesis: At every critical turn of a historical period, characterized by a change of the evolutionary plateau in the planet, revivalistic movements occur to a greater or lesser degree as a review of previous periods. This collective evocation has different degrees of importance and is part of the extraphysical reurbanization process, contributing to dilute the materthosene of old periods (still compatible to the majority of consciousnesses) and implementing a new and more evolved consciential materthosene.
SUMARIO: Observamos que en las curvas más importantes de su espiral evolutiva, la humanidad es influenciada por los movimientos de retroceso y de revivir el pasado. Esta aparente nostalgia o añoranza - revival - no siempre es negativa, pues permite en raras ocasiones, conceder el rescate histórico de ideas de vanguardia extemporáneas que no fueron comprendidas en su momento. Esto funciona como un tipo de reedición revisada de la idea. Sin embargo, comúnmente el modismo retrógrado aparece en ciclos miméticos de influencia específica en la conducta del individuo y del grupo en los campos sociales más diversos, como: el científico, místico, filosófico, religioso, artístico, educativo y del placer. Constantemente, el Arte en general, la Moda y la Arquitectura reflejan explícitamente los movimientos de la revivificación de la historia. Basado en la técnica concienciológica del cosmograma, esta investigación tiene el propósito de analizar el desarrollo conciencial en el revivalismo histórico, presentando la hipótesis siguiente: En cada pasaje crítico de un período histórico que caracteriza el cambio de nivel evolutivo conciencial del planeta, los movimientos revivalistas ocurren a un mayor o menor grado, como una revisión de periodos anteriores. Esta evocación colectiva de diferentes grados de importancia es parte del proceso de reurbanización extrafísica y contribuye para diluir el materpensene de períodos antiguos (todavía compatible a la mayoría de las conciencias), y para llevar a cabo un nuevo y más evolucionado materpensene conciencial.
RESUMO: Observamos que nas curvas mais importantes da sua espiral evolutiva, a humanidade é influenciada pelos retromovimentos e revivescências do passado. Esta aparente nostalgia ou saudosismo - revival - nem sempre é negativa permitindo raras vezes, resgates históricos de idéias de vanguarda extemporâneas, não compreendidas na época de sua apresentação, ao modo de uma reedição. Contudo, o mais comum é que o modismo retrógrado apareça em ciclos miméticos de influência específica sobre o comportamento individual e grupal nos mais diversos campos sociais, tais como: científico, místico, filosófico, religioso, artístico, educativo e do lazer. A Arte em geral, a Moda e a Arquitetura, refletem de tempos em tempos de modo explícito os movimentos de revivificação histórica. Fundamentada na técnica conscienciológica do cosmograma, essa pesquisa visa analisar o desempenho consciencial no revivalismo histórico, apresentando a hipótese assim elaborada: Em toda passagem crítica de período histórico que caracteriza a mudança de patamar evolutivo consciencial planetário, ocorrem em maior ou menor escala, movimentos revivalistas ao modo de uma revisão dos períodos anteriores. Essa evocação coletiva em escala variável de importância, faz parte do processo de reurbanização extrafísica em curso e contribui para diluir o materpensene de antigos períodos (ainda compatível com a maioria das consciências) e implantar um novo materpensene consciencial mais evoluído. Málu Balona studied the basic cycle of Psychology in the Estácio de Sá University, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and she has worked in events organization for 25 years. Balona has been a researcher and instructor with the IIPC since 1986. She is an itinerant instructor who also directed the IIPC’s Buenos Aires and Barcelona offices. Brooke Gordon ABSTRACT: This article discusses the many functions and attributes of the pineal gland structure, with the purpose of proving that it serves as a link between the physical and extraphysical dimensions. Experience has shown us that we are multidimensional consciousnesses manifesting in temporary physical vehicles. By more fully understanding the functions of the physical body, it then becomes easier to understand its emotional, mental, energetic and psychic connections more clearly. It’s important to study how the various bodies of the holosoma interact, as well as the many influences they have on one another. Studying the pineal gland is just one step in pursuit of that knowledge. SUMARIO: Este artículo discute las muchas funciones y atributos de la estructura de la glándula pineal, con el propósito de demostrar que sirve como un eslabón entre las dimensiones física y extrafísica. La experiencia nos ha mostrado que nosotros somos conciencias multidimensionales que se manifiestan en vehículos físicos temporales. Entendiendo más las funciones del cuerpo físico, se facilitará el entendimiento de sus conexiones emocionales, mentales, energéticas y psíquicas más claramente. Es importante estudiar el mecanismo a través del cual los varios cuerpos del holosoma interactúan, así como la gran cantidad de influencias que ellos tienen entre sí. Estudiar la glándula pineal es simplemente un paso más en dirección a ese conocimiento. RESUMO: Este artigo discute as muitas funções e atributos da estrutura da glândula pineal com o objetivo de demonstrar que esta serve como uma ligação entre as dimensões física e a extrafísica. A experiência evidencia que somos consciências multidimensionais que se manifestam em veículos físicos temporários. Compreendendo de modo mais abrangente as funções do corpo físico, torna-se mais fácil entender com melhor clareza suas conexões emocionais, mentais, enérgicas e parapsíquicas. É importante estudar o mecanismo através do qual os vários corpos do holossoma interagem, bem como as muitas influências que eles exercem uns sobre os outros. Estudar a glândula pineal é apenas um passo mais na direção deste conhecimento. Brooke A.
