| International Academy of Consciousness (IAC) Consciousness Development Programme Out-of-Body-Experience Psychic Awareness As part of its educational activities, the IAC offers the Consciousness Development Program (CDP), which examines subjects such as the out-of-body experience (OBE, also known as astral projection), psychic awareness, energetic control and protection, healing, karmic links, chakras, death and dying, past lives, cosmoethics, life mission, paranormal phenomena, subtle dimensions, assistance to physical and non-physical beings. The CDP is the IAC's main
curricular course. Delivered in 4 modules over 40 hours, the CDP blends
theoretical classes with practical activities including guided attempts to
provoke lucid out-of-body experiences. Students regularly practice a variety of
specially developed techniques to control their (bio)energies with the objective of attaining a level of mastery that will enable them: Emphasis is given to the OBE throughout the CDP as the
OBE provides students with opportunities to perceive first-hand the invisible
yet real, non-physical dimension with which they interact all the time, thus
accelerating the process of ‘spiritual’ maturation. Some of the benefits of the
