Internal & External Conflict - A Study of Self-limiting Emotional Styles

Internal & External Conflict - A Study of Self-limiting Emotional Styles

Too many times our habitual emotional and thinking patterns lead to conflict with others. Such conflict is usually unpleasant for all concerned, and is often associated with either regret or self-justification, neither of which leaves us at peace with ourselves. Part of the evolutionary process is learning to resolve these internal conflicts and act more as a catalyst to resolve conflicts around us. This course aims to help us identify and resolve our internal conflicts. It also demonstrates how this process is integral to resolving conflicts with others.

Topics covered include:

  • Identifying your outdated emotional patterns;
  • Learn how your self-image can lead to internal and external conflict;
  • Uncover self-defeating justifications and defense mechanism that lead to conflict;
  • Intentions and values as tools for remaining unconflicted;
  • How to have constructive discussions rather than destructive conflict;
  • Harmonizing your intimate, family, and professional relationships through self-reflection;
  • Overcoming inner conflict as part of the evolutionary process.
