Collection of Papers - 3rd International Congress of Projectiology and Conscientiology

Convened at New York, USA, from 16th to 19th of May 2002

The ICPC is a forum promoting debate and exchange between researchers engaged in the study of the consciousness.

The forum is an opportunity for members of the scientific community to present research findings and to exchange new ideas, encouraging the synthesis of information arising from different disciplines and the development of new theories.

Papers presented at the 3rd ICPC covered a broad spectrum of subjects related to research and investigation in the fields of parapsychism and paracognition as well as extraphysical phenomena, each presented by its author(s).

Each of the contributors is a recognised and well respected figure within their area of expertise and the gathering of these individuals at the 3rd ICPC represents a significant scientific event.

An outstanding point of the congress will be the launching of the English version of the scientific treatise "Projectiology: A Panorama of Experiences of the Consciousness Outside the Human Body", an international reference work authored by Waldo Vieira, M.D.

The 3rd ICPC is sponsored by the International Institute of Projectiology and Conscientiology, a research and educative institute whose objectives center around consciousness research with special emphasis on the out-of-body experience as an investigative tool.

The IIPC has sponsored a number of similar scientific forums and events and actively stimulates debate and discussion in the many areas of consciousness research through the quarterly publication of the Journal of Conscientiology. Contributions related to conscientiological studies are invited from researchers of all disciplines and should be addressed to the Editor in accordance with the guide included on the inside back cover.
