The Consciousness Development Program (CDP) is IAC’s core curricular program.  It offers the most comprehensive, transformative body of information that you are likely to find anywhere about life’s most fundamental questions. Starting from an examination of psychic phenomena such as the out-of-body experience, it examines who we are, how we can develop ourselves, what happens when we die, and even why we are here, besides other fundamental themes. Students are shown how to incorporate the CDP’s ideas into their daily lives, allowing them to increase their fulfillment by living coherently with a broader, more accurate understanding of themselves and reality.

Topics covered

The CDP integrates a wide range of themes, giving students a cohesive, verifiable framework for understanding themselves, their energetic nature, psychic phenomena, paranormal occurrences, their relationships, and even their purpose in life. Key themes include:

  •           The multidimensional nature of our existence
  •           Paranormal and psychic phenomena – how they are produced, how to develop our abilities
  •           Energy (chi, prana, subtle energy) – using it to help ourselves and others
  •           Out-of-body experiences (astral projection) – what they are, their importance, techniques to induce them
  •           Retrocognition (past-life recall)
  •           Non-physical helpers (spirit guides)
  •           Other dimensions (non-physical planes)
  •           Karma
  •           Self-awareness and personal evolution
  •           Cosmoethics (multidimensional ethics)
  •           Life after death
  •           Existential program (life purpose)

The CDP is based on research and scientific theories that have been developed over the past 40 years.  It is a 40-hour program taken in four 10-hour modules, and includes:

  •           6 sessions in which students aim to induce lucid out-of-body experiences (OBEs)
  •           16 sessions in which students are trained to mobilize and control their energies
  •           20 hours of classroom tuition
